Websites are not just about sales or marketing; they can be at the heart of business transformation.

Our client Corporate Support Solutions wanted to be able to market warranties to customers who had purchased electrical goods. We created a bespoke solution which generated eshots to customers, enabling them to select and buy warranties for their purchases in a simple, single online transaction. This both minimises staff resources for CSS and improves the customer experience.

The Centre for eBusiness consultancy needed an online training platform to support Business Link advisors who needed to keep up to date with developments in the use of technology in business. We added value by incorporating an interactive self-assessment tool making training recommendations and providing a personal ‘briefcase’ where users can store videos, podcasts, web links and articles they want to use again.

The North East’s fire and rescue services wanted to reduce fire deaths and serious injuries and commissioned Hippo to create a social marketing toolkit. We developed an online solution including a predictor tool which advises the FRSs which approaches are most successful in encouraging behavioural change to reduce fire risk among different groups. Substantial efficiency savings across the public purse are predicted and the NHS, police forces and other fire brigades nationwide have expressed interest in the online toolkit.
